Site Communications Manager

The Communications Manager plays a critical role in shaping and executing the site’s communication strategy, ensuring clear, consistent, and engaging messaging to enhance employee engagement, cultural transformation, and stakeholder alignment. The role requires strong project management skills to oversee strategic initiatives that impact the site's operations, productivity, and overall employee experience.
The incumbent will report to Site GM and work closely with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, government relations and external stakeholders to drive impactful communication strategies and foster a culture of collaboration and transparency
Key responsibilities:
Corporate Visits and Stakeholder Management
Plan and coordinate corporate visits, showcasing site capabilities, achievements, key projects and talents
Lead pre-visit planning, ensuring smooth execution of facility tours, presentations and security protocols
Collaborate with facilities and security teams to ensure site readiness and visitor safety
Develop corporate briefing materials and presentations
Internal and External Communications
Develop and implement an internal communication strategy to enhance inclusion, transparency and engagement
Create and distribute updates from the Site GM, including newsletters, emails and townhall materials
Serve as the liaison for corporate communications, aligning site messaging with corporate brand identity including intranet content, social media, and related EVP activities.
Support external communications by producing high-quality content celebrating site milestones
Corporate Branding and Site Representation
Ensure site-wide adherence to corporate branding guidelines
Promote the site’s reputation through industry partnerships, community outreach and sponsorships
Oversee branded materials for corporate visits, including signage, marketing collateral and presentations
Collaborate with HR to integrate corporate branding into onboarding and training programs
Employee Engagement and Culture Building
Partner with HR to conduct surveys, analyze feedback, and develop action plans.
Support HR to organize site-wide events like appreciation days, volunteer activities and open houses to enhance employee engagement, recognition, and well-being.
Advocate for the “Kindness Movements” initiative, encouraging community service participation to enhance Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and organizational culture.
Collaborate with Global Communications to support and implement communication campaigns to enhance employee engagement and cultural transformation initiatives.
Diversity, Engagement, and Inclusion (DE&I)
Partner with HR/ IDB/ ERG/ Site Communications to drive DE&I programs that foster an inclusive workplace
Be part of the site’s employee resource groups to promote cultural awareness and engagement
Support DE&I training initiatives on unconscious bias and inclusive leadership
Organize DE&I events such as cultural celebrations and roundtable discussions.
Key requirements:
Bachelor's degree in communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business, Legal or a related field.
10+ years of experience in corporate communications, internal communications, or a related field.
Strong project management skills with experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives.
Proven ability to work effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with digital communication tools, social media platforms, and intranet management.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Proven ability to work independently as well as within a team, managing multiple priorities effectively.
High level of discretion, trustworthiness, and confidentiality.
Strong perseverance, ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
