Senior Lab Technician - Cell Culture Development 80-100% (m/f/d)

Are you a mammalian cell culture expert looking for a new challenge? We're seeking a highly motivated Lab Technician or Research Associate to join our diverse team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in performing experimental lab work, generating high-quality data, and supplying to the overall efficiency of our laboratory operations.
The actual location of this job is in Visp, Switzerland. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates and their families, if needed.
Key responsibilities:
Implement and document experimental lab work in the field of mammalian cell culture
Generate and collect high quality data in collaboration with individual scientists and lab technicians
Contribute to general laboratory tasks and media preparation
Contribute to the maintenance of lab equipment and participate in the creation of working instructions for laboratory equipment
Order raw materials and consumables as per project needs
Key requirements:
Apprenticeship with 1-4 years of relevant industry experience or Bsc or equivalent experience in Biotechnology, Biology or Chemistry
Experience in mammalian cell culture (CHO cells, aseptic techniques, subculture, cryopreservation, transfections, AMBR15/AMBR250, stirred-tank bioreactors, media preparation)
Ability to work in teams and prioritize work
Technical English proficiency needed, German is a plus
Availability to work during weekends and bank holidays a few times per year
