What you’ll do:
- Lead the development and implementation of technical procedures, with a focus on NMR analysis of biologics and bioconjugates
- Plan and coordinate laboratory work; apply structured problem-solving and deep scientific expertise
- Review and approve complex scientific reports to ensure high quality and scientific rigor
- Identify and implement innovations by monitoring scientific literature and collaborating with internal and external partners
- Provide input on analytical methodologies, instrumentation, and supplier selection
- Manage, coach, and mentor 1–5 lab technicians or junior scientists to support team performance and development
What we’re looking for:
- Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field
- Several years of industry experience in biopharmaceutical or analytical development, with strong expertise in NMR (preferably bio/bioconjugate-focused)
- Proficiency in English and German, both written and spoken
- Strong scientific writing skills and ability to critically review data and reports
- Experience in project coordination and cross-functional collaboration
- Leadership and mentoring experience in a laboratory or technical team setting
- Familiarity with GMP/GLP and regulatory expectations is a plus
