The Sales and Operations Planning leadership role at the Personalized Medicine BU is an expert team member with the primary responsibilities in working with the commercial division to build the demand plan, work closely with the manufacturing team to build a production plan and ensure the appropriate inventory of raw materials and Finished goods is maintained to meet the customer demand. This onsite role supports Commercial division, Manufacturing, R&D, PD, Service and Supply Chain.
Key responsibilities:
Lead and improve the S&OP process using Visual ERP systems
Lead discussion on demand planning with senior leadership and mitigate risks associated with delivering our product to our customers.
Lead finished goods assets/inventory and ensure clarity to Commercial/SC and Service using critical metrics.
Lead the Production Planning process with MFG leaders and build plan that optimizes manufacturing resources and capacity
Analyses Sales and production trends and provide forecasts to senior leadership, Sales, and Operations personnel
Help build and end to end supply chain dashboard including current and NEW product development initiatives, coordinated with financial performance/dedication.
Collaborate with Project Management teams to fit initiatives into the Manufacturing production plan
Collaborate with R&D personnel to secure Raw material planning for projects and Inventory control
Establish the R&D Inventory control process for projects and ensure the transition process of R&D parts into regular inventory
Guide on MPS and MRP in Visual/ERP system and/or SAP
Able to program/Build reports in SmartView/Visual ERP system and delivery regular critical metrics, such as OTIF, Production adherence, Schedule adherence, capacity utilization.
Collaborate, negotiate, and lead meetings with various department heads as needed.
Complete continuous improvement projects
Be the Permed business unit subject matter authority on S&OP standard methodologies
Able to complete and follow up on Quality /process issues using Change Management and other Quality management systems
Support the EHS activities and initiatives
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
Key requirements:
Experience in Supply Chain & Operations: Minimum 5-7 years in demand planning, production planning, or S&OP processes, with leadership experience.
Proficiency with ERP Systems: Authority knowledge of Visual ERP systems and/or SAP, specifically in MPS, MRP, and report generation in SmartView.
Inventory & Production Management: Strong experience in handling finished goods inventory, capacity planning, and optimizing manufacturing resources.
Analytical & Forecasting Skills: Ability to analyze sales and production trends, build accurate forecasts, and drive data-driven decision-making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Solid ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Project Management, and senior leadership.
Continuous Improvement & Process Optimization: Experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives and implementing process optimizations in supply chain and manufacturing.
Communication & Leadership: Strong communication and negotiation skills to lead discussions, handle change, and influence stakeholders optimally.
