Engineer with extensive experience in managing capital investment projects and supporting manufacturing sites with their utility infrastructure. Should have strong background in civil and mechanical engineering, combined with experience in managing multiple stakeholders at different locations.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills, effectively navigating cultural differences and aligning diverse teams toward common goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning & Execution: Develop, implement, and manage project plans, schedules, cases, and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and customer requirements.

  • Portfolio Management: Develop and manage the regional capital investment portfolio and facilitate the corporate approval process.

  • Utility Asset Management: Define investments needed to maintain business continuity, improve asset efficiency, and ensure operational excellence of utility infrastructure.

  • Collaborator Engagement: Identify, engage, and manage relationships with key collaborators across various sites and countries. Facilitate regular communication to ensure project goals are understood and met, through critical metrics defined by the company.

  • Cross-Cultural Leadership: Lead and empower diverse teams in different locations, encouraging collaboration and resolving conflicts in a culturally sensitive manner.

  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity and success. Monitor project health and proactively address challenges.

  • Reporting & Documentation:** Prepare and present project status reports, updates, and documentation to senior management and collaborators, ensuring transparency and accountability.

  • Prioritization: Identify resource needs for projects at various locations, bringing to bear important collaborators to ensure the right individuals are assigned to meet project requirements and deadlines.

  • Adherence to Standards: Ensure all projects adhere to applicable regulations and standards, ensuring high quality and performance levels are maintained.

  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate directly with internal quality personnel to craft and implement projects to meet quality and regulatory requirements of the relevant nutrition and pharmaceutical industries.

  • Continuous Improvement: Find opportunities to improve processes and implement standard methodologies to enhance manufacturing and/or project delivery.

Key requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Master’s Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent experience.

  • 7+ years of project management experience, with a proven track record of managing projects and multi-functional teams.

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello).

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.

  • Proficiency in handling budgets and financial forecasting.

  • Experience in a multicultural environment and understanding of global business practices.

  • Willingness to be on-site in Rewari 2-3 days a week and travel as needed for project requirements.
