The main responsibility of the Software Tester is to test Cocoon® Platform software components and products. This involves crafting and implementing test plans and cases, identifying defects, and providing feedback to improve the reliability and quality of the software.

Key responsibilities:- Design Test Cases, Test Plans, Protocols, and Reports for software components and products V&V in accordance with SDLC process requirements.
- Perform hands-on testing of software components and products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Identify and document software issues with meticulous attention to detail.
- Provide realistic effort and time estimates for work you're doing and report progress in a timely manner.
- Proactively collaborate with fellow team members, coordinating software V&V activities.
- Work closely with Engineering, Biology, Service, and other teams to give to product design and improvement.
- College Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of overall Software Testing experience; 3+ years crafting Test Cases, Test Plans, Protocols, and Reports.
- Deep understanding of software V&V principles and standard processes, with validated experience crafting V&V documentation.
- Advanced skills in analyzing software requirements and design specifications.
- Familiarity with the V design model and industry standards such as IEC 62304.
- Experience in risk identification, analysis, and mitigation.
- Experience in the Medical Device Software industry or in other highly regulated industries such as avionics, banking, or gambling is a strong asset.
- Extensive hands-on experience testing software products and components, with familiarity in MS SQL Server database testing.
- Experience with issue and requirements management tools, preferably MS Azure Server / Services.
- Knowledge of testing products that require software communication with hardware via COM and USB ports, and industrial networks (e.g., CANbus) is an advantage.
- Experience testing firmware is an advantage.
