For Drug Product Services (DPS), our successful Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) branch, located in Basel, Switzerland and Stein, Switzerland, we have exciting opportunities. Key responsibilities:
  • Set up and calibrate manufacturing processes, including spiking particles and preparing container defects, while ensuring flawless defect verification. Compile comprehensive and detailed reports

  • Design and preparation of surrogate solution and Filling of units (e.g. vials, PFS, bags)

  • Contribute to innovative and technical projects by assessing and incorporating new technologies. Install, validate, and upkeep instruments in DPS Forensic Chemistry, following standard methodologies and regulations closely

  • Ensure the effective use of resources, including time, people, equipment, materials, and rooms. Maintain equipment and uphold stringent safety and health protection standards

  • Follow all lab and safety instructions and mentorship, adhering to cGMP regulations when applicable

  • Ensure basic GMP qualification and perform documentation, material handling, and equipment use according to the highest quality standards (e.g., ISO)

Key requirements:
  • Recent graduation from a university or technical college with a background in pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences, biotechnology, chemistry, biology, or related fields. 

  • Flexibility, agility, and proactivity with a willingness to learn and execute complex tasks with a proven collaborative mentality. 

  • Skill and enjoyment of manual work (e.g. handling tools to create scratches on glass or metal)

  • Self-motivated with a strong passion for science and interest in pharmaceutical R&D. 

  • Very good verbal and written communication skills, fluency in English. 

  • Attention to detail and a strong sense of accuracy; ability to judge plausibility of results. 

  • Lab work experience including aseptic handling of samples
