QA Director, Small Molecules Small & Midscale (m/f/d)

For our site in Visp, we are looking for a Quality Assurance Director (m/f/d), Small Molecules Small & Midscale Manufacturing. The Chemical Small Scale Manufacturing is a growing business at Lonza including several new investments.

Key responsibilities:

• Responsibility for managing a dedicated QA operation team in Small Molecules Small & Midscale Manufacturing (LP/SSP)

• Ensuring that all applicable regulatory requirements to maintain a cGMP compliant organization are met

• Providing QA support to all stakeholders

• Supervising batch disposition

• Member of the Quality management team and thus responsible for maintaining and improving GMP systems and thereby ensuring the cGMP compliance of Lonza

Key requirements:

• Bachelor or Master degree in Chemistry / Bio-Chemistry or any related field

• Very good GMP knowledge and experience in the field of the pharmaceutical industry

• Profound and distinctive experience in a leadership position managing a dedicated QA operations team

• Experience handling internal and external stakeholders and customers on different management levels

• Driven by objectives and passion for process improvement

• Proficient in German and English language
