QA Associate

Are you an experienced Quality Assurance professional looking to make a direct impact on the shop floor of a global life sciences leader? We are looking for a QA Associate to join our dynamic QA Operations team in Slough for a 12-month contract, supporting sitewide batch review and compliance!

This is a fully site‑based role. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

The hourly rate for this position in the United Kingdom is expected to range between 17.00£ and 19.00£. Initial salary placement within this range will be determined based on role‑related factors such as experience, qualifications, and expected contribution.

What you will do:

  • Deliver shoulder-to-shoulder batch documentation review across manufacturing, development, and laboratory operations.

  • Partner directly with Manufacturing, MSAT, and Supply Chain teams to ensure right-first-time document completion.

  • Identify non-conformances and manage/escalate major compliance issues through the site QMS (deviations, CAPAs).

  • Serve as an operational QA point of contact, driving adherence to site PQS and cGMP guidelines.

  • Coach and mentor shop-floor partners in cGMP best practices to maintain a state of continuous audit readiness.

  • Participate actively in site governance and PQS continuous improvement initiatives.


What we are looking for:

  • At least 3 years of Quality Assurance (QA) experience gained within a cGMP manufacturing environment.

  • Direct experience reviewing batch records and managing QMS processes (deviations, CAPAs, non-conformances).

  • Educational background in Science (BSc in Biology or related field) or equivalent industry experience.

  • Outstanding attention to detail, organizational agility, and ability to manage strict deadlines.

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills for effective stakeholder management.
