Project Planner

Are you ready to build, drive, and master the integrated project schedules that bring mega-scale pharmaceutical investments to life? As a Project Planner in Visp, you will take full ownership of master schedules across global capital projects, ensuring technical precision, critical path execution, and seamless start-up operations at our state-of-the-art site.

Fully site-based roles

This is a fully site‑based role. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

What you will get:

  • An agile career and dynamic working culture.

  • An inclusive and ethical workplace.

What you will do:

  • Develop, monitor, and maintain integrated master project plans and schedules to drive efficient project execution across all project stages.

  • Prepare baseline schedules and detailed schedule-basis documentation for formal project team approval.

  • Perform critical path analyses and evaluate near-critical activity variances to provide proactive risk mitigation and corrective action plans.

  • Deliver timely progress reports, trend analysis charts, and periodic schedule updates to project leadership and stakeholders.

  • Maintain accurate records of project scope changes, schedule trends, and variances to safeguard overall timeline integrity.

  • Facilitate interactive planning sessions (IAPS) and scheduling alignment meetings across internal project teams and external EPCm partners.

  • Support resource loading, workload balancing, and long-term project timeline integration from initial design through commissioning and start-up.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business Management, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Significant project scheduling experience (5–10 years) managing large-scale capital projects (>20M CHF essential, >300M CHF preferred) in the pharma, biotech, or process industries.

  • High proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and core Microsoft Office tools.

  • Proven track record working within an EPCm environment; direct client-side owner representation is a distinct advantage.

  • Professional fluency in English (written and spoken); basic command of German is beneficial.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex project data sets and present decision-oriented insights.

  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently while collaborating effectively in fast-paced cross-functional project teams.
