Join our team as a Process Expert, you will lead cross-functional teams responsible for technology transfers—including process design, upscaling, and timely implementation at manufacturing scale. You will oversee the full lifecycle of assigned projects, from planning and coordination to execution, control, and completion, in alignment with project management goals.

What you will do:

In your role within MSAT (Manufacturing Science and Technology), you will act as the critical interface between the process donor (customer or process development) and operations.

  • Ensuring process scalability and manufacturability

  • Applying formal processes and tools to manage technology transfer, risk assessment, and change control

  • Communicating directly with customers during campaign preparation, execution, and closure—including daily batch status and performance reporting

  • Resolving process-related issues during manufacturing while adhering to regulatory requirements

  • Compiling process deviations and change requests

  • Ensuring timely completion of campaign reports and related documentation

What we are looking for:

  • Master’s degree required; PhD preferred in the field of Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or related disciplines

  • Minimum 5 years in biopharma manufacturing and/or process development - preferably with expertise in Mammalian Manufacturing

  • Strong understanding of GMP regulations & deep knowledge of bioprocess technology

  • Proficient in English and German language skills preferred

  • Strong leadership capabilities & excellent communication skills across customer and project interfaces

  • Highly team-oriented

  • Solution-oriented approach to challenges
