Manufacturing Associate I

Location: This position is based in our Walkersville, MD office. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM EST.

What you will do:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Associate I to support the aseptic production of LAL products in a controlled cleanroom environment. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring product quality and compliance by following established procedures and maintaining strict GMP standards. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build foundational experience in a regulated manufacturing setting.

  • Perform upstream and/or downstream aseptic manufacturing activities in an ISO 5 cleanroom environment

  • Set up, operate, and monitor production equipment in filling and finishing areas

  • Conduct product inspections and support final packaging of finished goods

  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain accurate GMP documentation

  • Complete required cleanroom gowning and aseptic processing activities

  • Support environmental monitoring and sample submission processes

  • Execute SAP transactions related to production and materials (e.g., COR, MIGO, LS26)

  • Participate in safety initiatives, including safety observations and maintaining a 6S work environment

  • Assist with component kitting and material handling activities

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and team-based projects

  • Maintain training compliance and meet productivity and quality targets

What we are looking for:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or relevant coursework preferred

  • Basic understanding of GMP and GDP practices or willingness to learn

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately

  • Ability to work in a cleanroom environment, including gowning and aseptic practices

  • Basic math and computer skills (SAP or similar systems a plus)

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

  • Ability to follow instructions and work under close supervision

  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle routine tasks and escalate issues as needed

  • Reliable, adaptable, and able to work in a structured, fast-paced manufacturing environment
