Key Account Manager, DFS

This is an opportunity to join a world-class team at Lonza AG as a Key Account Manager in Greenwood, IN, USA. We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to play a meaningful role in cultivating and growing our key customer relationships, contributing significantly to our sales revenue.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate significant revenue impact and drive financial outcomes for the business.
  • Build strategic objectives and direct resources (customer service, customer success, supply chain, quality) to ensure flawless service.
  • Generate and maintain overall revenue growth of key customer base, focusing on improving and sustaining partnerships.
  • Develop and maintain multi-department, multi-level contacts with key customers.
  • Maintain up-to-date Growth and Account Management Plans.
  • Visit key prospects/customers to understand their needs, then partner with operations management to identify solutions and exceed their expectations.
  • Collaborate with Lonza marketing, sales, customer service, supply chain, and operations to ensure customer centricity and business continuity.

Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, or a related field required.
  • 10+ years of Account Management and/or Sales experience, including contacts with Purchasing, Production, R&D, Marketing, and Quality.
  • Direct experience in the dietary supplement and/or pharma industry is required.
  • Must be capable of making on-the-spot sales decisions through negotiations with customers that can have a major impact on the CHI business.
  • Experienced in public speaking, customer presentations, and internal communications.
  • Outstanding interpersonal efficiency and patience in dealing with all aspects of external and internal customer interactions; proven ability to be a standout colleague.
  • Ability to travel to accounts/sales meetings domestically (50%); occasional international travel may be required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Salesforce.com, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
