Junior Master Data Specialist

Join Lonza as a Junior Master Data Specialist and become a valued addition to our global Master Data Team! This role offers an outstanding opportunity to engage with diverse regions, primarily the Americas and Europe, while also supporting Asia according to the follow-the-sun principle. Collaborate closely with the Global Master Data Management team members and contribute to various tasks based on your expertise. Key responsibilities:

• Process standard requests for Customer data, predominantly originating from the Americas, and from other regions as required.

• Manage and escalate non-standard or special Customer Master Data requests

• Provide first-level troubleshooting for Master Data issues.

• Support the global Master Data Team in various tasks such as generating reports, data cleansing, simple mass changes, and other assigned duties.

Key requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, or Finance.

• Proven experience with Master Data, SAP ERP, and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).

• Experience in Customer Master Data; finance background preferred.

• Basic understanding of business processes such as OTC and source to pay.  

• Proficiency in English; both written and verbal.

• Experience working in a Shared Service Center is a plus.
