Location: Bornem

The Associate Director Transfer Pricing is responsible for providing expert leadership and governance over the Group’s global transfer pricing framework. The role ensures that intercompany transactions are designed, priced, implemented, and documented in accordance with OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines, applicable local regulations, and internal tax risk management standards, while supporting business operations, restructuring projects, and regulatory developments.

What you will do: 

Transfer Pricing Policy & Governance

  • Defines, maintains, and governs the Group’s global transfer pricing policies covering goods, services, intangibles, and financial transactions.

  • Ensures consistent application of transfer pricing policies across all jurisdictions and business units.

  • Establishes and maintains transfer pricing governance, internal controls, and escalation processes in line with Group tax risk frameworks.

Operational Transfer Pricing

  • Oversees the operational implementation of transfer pricing policies, including pricing mechanics, cost bases, mark‑ups, and year‑end true‑ups.

  • Partners with Finance and Controlling to ensure accurate execution of transfer pricing in ERP and consolidation systems.

  • Reviews and challenges intercompany charges (e.g. management services, global service hubs, cost‑plus arrangements).

Documentation & Compliance

  • Manages the preparation, review, and consistency of transfer pricing documentation (Master File, Local Files, benchmarking studies).

  • Coordinates external advisors where required and ensures documentation meets audit‑defensible standards.

  • Monitors transfer pricing compliance obligations and deadlines across jurisdictions.

Audit & Tax Controversy Support

  • Acts as the primary transfer pricing contact for tax audits and inquiries by tax authorities.

  • Prepares and reviews technical transfer pricing positions, explanations, and supporting analyses.

  • Coordinates audit responses with local tax teams, Legal, and external advisors.

Business Support & Transactions

  • Provides transfer pricing advice on business changes, restructurings, supply chain transformations, and operating model changes.

  • Supports M&A, carve‑outs, and post‑deal integration activities from a transfer pricing perspective, including transition services and pricing models.

  • Assesses transfer pricing implications of new business models and cross‑border initiatives.

Stakeholder Management

  • Acts as a key interface between Tax, Finance, Controlling, Legal, and business stakeholders.

  • Translates complex transfer pricing concepts into clear, practical guidance for non‑tax stakeholders.

  • Contributes to internal training and awareness on transfer pricing topics.

What we are looking for: 
  • University degree (Master), preferably in Tax, Finance, Economics, or (Tax) Law.

  • 7+ years of specialist experience in Transfer Pricing at a "Highly Experienced" level.

  • Experience within a Big 4 environment is considered a strong plus.

  • Business Fluent English language skills.

  • Strong knowledge of OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines and common TP methods.

  • Analytical, structured, and risk-aware mindset, with the ability to process complex data.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for the business.

  • Ability to operate independently within a global organization.

  • There is no visa sponsorship available for this role.
