Internship Global Master Data Analyst 80-100% (m/f/d)

What you will do:

The Master Data department in Visp is a global team responsible for the development of master data processes and standards that are to be followed by the whole organization. As an intern, you will play an active role in:

• Perform various data analyses and reports to support Master data or Business projects 
• Assisting with SAP Master Data mass maintenance and migration efforts
• Gathering feedback from global and local Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across the organization
• Defining functional and technical requirements for the development or enhancement of Master Data processes
• Updating and improving training materials, and delivering hands-on training sessions to teams across Lonza

As a part of the Global Master Data team, you will be able to learn SAP Materials Management (MM), Production & Planning (PP) and Sales & Distribution (SD) modules, key business processes as well as SAP data structures. Overall, you will interact with many different departments and experts across the company worldwide.

What we are looking for:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in data science, computer science, business information technology, or mathematics
• Solid understanding of data structures or hands-on experience with databases
• Proficiency in English; German and other languages are a valuable plus
• A passion for optimizing processes, improving IT tools, and exploring innovative solutions
• You are interested in being a reliable team member in a multi-cultural environment.
