The head of Program Management DFS EMEA provides strategic and operational leadership for the Program Management function at the site, ensuring the flawless delivery of customer programs in alignment with Lonza Capsugel’s DFS strategy and in accordance with DFS PM standard work. This role builds a high-performance PM culture, strengthens customer relationships, and ensures that delivery, quality, and profitability objectives are met.
This role owns the full customer program lifecycle at the site, from contract signature through development, first manufacturing, and the transition into ongoing recurring business, ensuring seamless integration of new product development and commercial operations within a single Program Management operating model.
What you will do
Lead, mentor, and develop the site Program Management team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer focus.
Oversee all site programs to ensure on‑time, in‑full delivery and embed PM Standard Work and best practices.
Drive the transition from an order‑management model to a full lifecycle Program Management (PM/PTM) approach, ensuring strong cross‑functional alignment.
Act as the senior escalation point for program issues and support governance for strategic customer programs.
Partner with commercial and operational leaders to strengthen customer relationships and integrate feedback into continuous improvement.
Define, track, and report site‑level PM KPIs, ensuring accurate program data and driving process improvements.
Translate divisional/global PM strategy into actionable site plans and represent the site PM function in regional/global forums
What we are looking for
BSc or Master in Business, Nutrition, Lifesciences or related field
Experience in Customer Service, Project/Program Management, preferably nutraceuticals CMO, food supplement
Leadership experience
Change Management or transformation experience in a matrix environment
English and French fluent
Willing to travel up to 15%
