Role Purpose:

As Global Master Data Information Architect, you will coordinate the implementation of a data program to enhance Master Data Quality and Compliance in Plant Maintenance modules (Functional Location, Equipment, Maintenance Plan, and Task List). This program includes defining governance, establishing a global data model, managing data processes, coordinating authorization, and ensuring proper reporting, training, and documentation.

Additionally, the Global Master Data Information Architect represents the Global Master Data Management team in global projects.

The role is global and supports all businesses and sites worldwide. It involves interacting closely with collaborators from various departments like Operation, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, and IT.

Key responsibilities:

  • Implement a multi-level program (Governance, Data Model, Process, Organization, Tools, Authorization, Consistency checks and live cycle, build network).
  • In related modules, the Global Information Architect gathers the necessary knowledge and keeps it up-to-date to ensure business processes and reports are optimally supported.
  • Set the right priorities in the module and ensure the influence on other systems and modules as well as on processes and reports is strictly checked.
  • Represent the Global Master Data Team in global projects across various functions and ensure standards are successfully implemented.
  • Ensure that all collaborators are involved in the discussions and enable the development of optimized solutions.
  • Address critical issues and challenges brought forth by blocking issues, the business, or enabling functions.
  • Lead virtual global teams in some cases.

Key requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in data science, computer science, mathematics, business information technology, or business administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in SAP ERP ECC or SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable, particularly in the modules Plant Maintenance, Materials Management, or Production and Planning (e.g., bill of materials and recipes).
  • Knowledge in the field of Data Analytics like Power BI or SQL is an advantage.
  • Strong team spirit and the ability to collaborate effectively are essential.
  • Demonstrate agility by taking on challenges and driving process improvements while using business insight to make informed decisions.
  • Actively engage with the team to share knowledge and meet customer needs, showing strong collaboration and customer focus.
  • Achieve excellent outcomes, foster reliability, and foster a positive work atmosphere with an attitude centered on achieving results and dedication to continuous improvement.
