Global Finance Operations Manager (f/m/d)

As Global Finance Operation Manager, you will own the Lonza Manufacturing Performance consolidation, assessment and reporting to Senior Management (e.g. FILT and EC).
Develop and improve the Global Finance Framework to evaluate and improve overall Operational Efficiency. This includes scaling up Global Metrics to assess capacity utilization and product quality delivery.
Your role will involve coordinating with the Operational Excellence Team (GO), Finance FP&A, and Divisional Ops Finance Heads to establish harmonization, visibility, and accountability of Operational Performance Measurements.
Key responsibilities:Consolidate, Analyze, interpret and provide recommendations based on main Lonza Manufacturing Operations trends (e.g. capacity utilization, cost per unit and production variance evolution etc.), as well as highlight Risks and Opportunities.
Develop and enhance the Global Framework to assess overall Operational Productivity Improvements, as well as upscaling Global Metrics to evaluate and consolidate capacity utilization and product quality delivery
Act as liaison with Divisional Ops Controllers as well as the Operational Excellence Team within Group Operations to drive Harmonization, Simplification and Transparency on Operational performance assessment
Provide ad hoc finance support to the Group Operations Centers of Excellence (e.g. Operational Excellence Team)
Define together with FP&A Team the planning Guidance (Target, BSR) of the Sites and Divisions Operational Performance expectations
5-10 years experience in Financial Controlling roles in the Manufacturing / Operations area (Both ‘Local’ and ‘Global’ as a plus)
Strong communication and analytical skills; particularly able to understand complex business dynamics and convey clear and simple messages committed
Excellent advisory / business partnership capabilities; ability to influence without authority and mobilize the organization
Agile, ready to inspire changes, comfortable with ambiguity and eager to keep learning and growing
Pro-active teammate encouraging inclusive relationships and engaging with internal and external colleagues
Committed and able to get results with minimal direct supervision and mentorship provided in terms of broad goals.
