Fantastic opportunity to join Lonza as Commercial Finance Manager for EMEA in Colmar! We are looking for a driven finance business partner to the Sales and BU teams, ensuring financial compliance and supporting commercial activities, as well as leading day-to-day finance operations.
Key responsibilities:Take a supporting role in the region and in Finance, to help deliver on business objectives and strategies.
Coordinate and drive along with RBU Finance the relevant planning and analysis processes such as long-term planning (BSR), annual budget, outlooks, and forecasts for the region (commercial).
Lead monthly closing and reporting.
Supervise and track the rebates accruals vs. expectation in collaboration with the sales teams.
Drive the monthly risks and opportunities process.
Work closely with the Sub Regions and be a valuable collaborator in the S&OP process (verify volumes and prices with sales, supervise inventory levels and customer payment behavior).
Collaborate with customers to develop pricing recommendations and credit limits, actively participate in regional pricing strategy, and facilitate the approval process with global collaborators.
Share global responsibility for CHI financial and management accounting in accordance with IFRS, the Lonza Finance Accounting Manual (FAM), and other required accounting principles.
Bachelor's degree in Finance or equivalent experience in the field.
Advanced knowledge in Excel.
Knowledge in SAP is a nice to have.
Proficient in English and knowledge in French is an advantage.
Proven experience in finance and in product-based business.
The person will be based in Colmar and will have to go 3 to 5 times per month to the site of Basel.
