主な業務内容： 

• 日本におけるすべての会計業務を主導し、ローカル規制およびIFRSに準拠した正確かつタイムリーな財務報告を確実にする。
• 財務、税務、法定コンプライアンスを統括し、APAC/グローバルの税務・財務チームと密に連携する。
• 内部統制を管理し、監査指摘事項を解消し、Lonzaポリシーへの完全な準拠を徹底する。
• 月次決算業務を監督し、計画との差異を分析し、洞察に基づく財務コメントを提供する。
• 売掛金（AR）、買掛金（AP）、在庫をモニタリングし、財務プロセスを強化することでキャッシュフローを最適化する。
• 外部の会計・税務事務所と連携し、税務申告および移転価格文書（JP/EN）の期限内提出を確実にする。
• 設備投資提案（CARs）を評価し、企業基準および事業戦略との整合性を確保する。
• Lonza Japan K.K. の取締役会および株主総会を調整し、必要書類の準備を行う。

応募要件：

• 会計、財務、経済、または経営学の学士号以上。
• CPA（日本または国際資格）保有者歓迎。
• 国内外での実務経験を含む、最低5年以上の財務関連経験。
• 財務スタッフのマネジメント経験を含む、強いリーダーシップとチーム育成能力。
• 英語・日本語における読み書き・会話の流暢性。
• 部門横断的に効果的なパートナーシップを構築し、日本およびグローバルの財務チームと密接に協働する。
• 分析的思考力を持ち、主体的でソリューション志向のアプローチができること。

Finance Manager
Location: Tokyo, Japan

As Finance Manager for Lonza Japan, you will play a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial support for the business. This is a high-impact role with both local responsibility and global collaboration across APAC and global finance teams.

What you will do:

• Lead all accounting operations in Japan, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting aligned with local regulations and IFRS.
• Oversee treasury, tax matters, and statutory compliance, coordinating closely with APAC/Global Tax and Treasury teams.
• Manage internal controls, resolve audit findings, and ensure full adherence to Lonza policies.
• Supervise month-end closing activities, analyze variances vs. plan, and provide insight-driven financial commentary.
• Optimize cash flow by monitoring AR, AP, inventory, and strengthening financial processes.
• Collaborate with external accounting and tax firms to ensure on-time tax filings and transfer pricing documentation (JP/EN).
• Evaluate capital investment proposals (CARs), ensuring alignment with corporate criteria and strategic business direction.
• Coordinate Board of Directors and Shareholder Meetings for Lonza Japan K.K., including required documentation.
   

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
• Professional certification such as CPA (Japan or international) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant finance experience in both domestic and international environments.
• Strong leadership and team development skills with experience supervising financial staff.
• Fluency in English and Japanese (reading, writing, speaking).
• Ability to build effective partnerships across departments and work closely with regional and global finance teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
