External Innovation Analyst 80-100% (f/m/d) 6 months fix-term contract

The actual location of this job is in Basel Stücki / Basel Tower, Switzerland.

This role is ideal for an individual with a keen interest in being at the intersection of business & scientific innovation. The successful candidate will gain invaluable hands-on experience by working closely with several internal and external stakeholders in the Biologics R&D group, contributing to external innovation project management, scouting activities for innovative technologies, due diligence efforts, and team governance.

What you’ll do:

• Assist with technology scouting activities and test available tools

• Maintain CRM entries and support preparation of KPI reports and dashboards

• Provide administrative support to governance processes and documentation

• Help prepare internal technology board materials

• Gather data to support competitive intelligence exercises

• Coordinate external collaboration projects and track tasks

• Support the External Innovation team and contribute to ad hoc projects

What we’re looking for:

• Degree in Science, Business Administration or related field; MBA is a plus

• 1–2 years of experience in a similar or related field

• Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Deal Cloud or similar)

• Strong data management and analysis skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

• Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive

• Collaborative mindset and ability to work in a matrix environment
