EI&C Maintenance Engineer
Join our EI&C Engineering team in Visp and play a pivotal role in keeping our high-precision manufacturing facilities operating safely and reliably. As an EI&C Maintenance Engineer, you will serve as the technical bridge between Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality, driving continuous improvement, troubleshooting complex automation systems, and ensuring seamless production in a highly regulated GMP environment.
This is a fully site‑based role located in Visp, Switzerland. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

What you will do:
Play a crucial role in maintaining zero unexpected downtime across high-precision manufacturing lines in Visp.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, acting as the key interface between Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality.
Perform root cause investigations, troubleshoot real-time system issues, and implement sustainable Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Maintain, troubleshoot, and support DeltaV Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and related automation infrastructure.
Support Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), preferably Syncade, assisting with production execution and electronic batch record issues.
Plan, coordinate, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities using SAP Maintenance modules.
Ensure all maintenance decisions, change controls, deviations, and documentation strictly comply with GMP and safety regulations.
What we are looking for:
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Process Control, or a comparable technical discipline (HF, BSc, or MSc).
Proven experience in industrial maintenance, automation, or process manufacturing environments within a GMP-regulated industry.
Strong practical knowledge of electrical engineering, industrial instrumentation, and DeltaV DCS platforms.
Familiarity with MES systems (preferably Syncade) and SAP Maintenance workflows.
Strong analytical problem-solving skills and structured troubleshooting methodologies (e.g., RCA).
High resilience and ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
Fluent German language skills are required; proficiency in English is an advantage.
