Guide and support a team of laboratory technicians for microbiological testings: e.g. sterility testing, bioburden, bacterial endotoxins
Assist in method development, implementation, evaluation, validation, and writing/updating/reviewing/approving of QC-related documentation. Support and complete trending reports and deviations
Provide training for procedures, test methods, and raw data review
Collaborate with partner units within Lonza DP network to ensure timely delivery of project achievements and smooth continuation of production
Ensure effective use of resources, maintenance of equipment, and adherence to safety and health protection protocols
Act as SME and project lead for different on-site projects, with a focus on microbiology projects. Participate as Subject Matter Expert in audits and inspections
Support the lab team and ensure timely progress of sample testing, review, and approval
Academic degree, apprenticeship, or equivalent in Microbiology, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related fields
Profound working experience in microbiological testing in the pharmaceutical industry within cGMP regulations is a must
Hands-on experience in microbiological test types (e.g. environmental monitoring, endotoxin, bioburden, sterility testing) is a must
Knowledge of automated systems (e.g., Growth Direct, Pyrotec Pro) is a plus
Excellent communication & scientific reporting skills, proactive attitude, you work well with teams.
Proficiency in written and spoken English; German proficiency is a plus.
