As a Manufacturing Administrative Assistant at Lonza AG, you will engage in a role that is crucial for the flawless operation of our Greenwood, SC manufacturing site. You will have the outstanding opportunity to support our world-class manufacturing team by ensuring all operational data is thoroughly organized and presented. This role is perfect for someone who is ambitious, diligent, and passionate about making a significant impact through administrative excellence.
Job Responsibilities:- Build and maintain various databases to track downtime, scrap, production yields, changeovers, gel usage, and HCM operating time for the Lonza Greenwood operations groups. Report information to other Lonza global affiliates in an appropriate and accurate format.
- Generate and maintain monthly colleague and equipment performance data.
- Ensure effective communication throughout Operational departments by crafting and distributing Weekly Highlights.
- Purchase, provide, and maintain inventory of office supplies for operational groups and departments.
- Enter all purchase and service-related requisitions for the operations teams and provide reports for account tracking and budget reviews.
- Track all received goods for the group to ensure vendors are paid accurately and promptly.
- Monitor monthly company uniform service invoices to ensure charges are accurate.
- Enter purchase requisitions for other departments as requested.
- Process packages for shipment through logistics shipping websites, including international packages requiring export documents for customs clearance.
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
- Strong computer skills and software knowledge.
- Proven verbal communication skills and a collaborative team spirit.
- Willingness and capability to work extended hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- On-site attendance is considered a necessary requirement.
