Water and environmental technology specialist for a 6 months project

Lonza is currently investigating in different pre-treatment methods for wastewater. Various preliminary investigations have already been carried out for this purpose. One treatment method tested in laboratory scale showed promising results. In the project, this treatment method has to be reviewed and tested with a pilot plant. Key parameters and optimizations must be identified and tested, to evaluate the best performing configuration. 

Key responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct the appropriate pilot plant experiments independently
• Regular preparation of interim reports
• On the basis of the results of the experiments: evaluation of the design and the costs of the final installation
• Visualisation of the results and preparation of a final report

Key requirements:

• Education in environmental engineering
• In-depth knowledge in water engineering
• Good knowledge in wastewater treatment
• Used to perform engineering and chemical work
• Good language skills (E/G/F) would be an advantage
• Used to work independently
