Lonza AG is growing, and we are looking for an exceptionally skilled Technician Relief, Maintenance III to join our ambitious team in Greenwood, SC, USA. This outstanding opportunity allows you to work within both our dietary supplement and pharmaceutical operations, ensuring the reliability and flawless operation of all production equipment.

Key responsibilities:
  • Own and proactively improve the preventative maintenance (PM) program for the DFS plant, including documentation and execution.
  • Perform hands-on maintenance of all production equipment, such as IMA filling machines, LEMS machines, metal detectors, and vacuum chambers.
  • Manage outside contractors on facility projects, ensuring strict adherence to quality, safety, and cGMP guidelines.
  • Stay current with FDA, OSHA, EPA policy requirements, and cGMP practices related to the site.
  • Promote and maintain a safe working environment by staying up to date on all safety regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with all departments to understand and support their facilities needs, including people and utilities.
  • Be available for overtime with short notice and respond to emergencies related to facility equipment.
  • Successfully implement solutions to eliminate overtime built by sick/vacation/leaves of other technicians.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, showcasing creativity and a focused approach.
Key requirements:
  • Proven skills in both mechanical and electrical/electronics maintenance.
  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to coordinate and supervise outside contractors.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to carry a company cell phone for use on-site and in emergency situations.
  • Flexibility to work any shift required, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Dedication to working overtime as required, more than 40 hours per week or 8 hours per day.
  • Essential attendance on the plant site/office site.
