Supply / MRP Planner  

Location: This is an on-site position located in Pearland, TX

The purpose of this role is to ensure that all raw materials, components, and consumables are available on time and in full to support clinical and commercial GMP production schedules. The planner acts as the key operational interface between procurement, manufacturing, quality, warehouse, and program management, ensuring seamless execution of supply plans and alignment with client requirements.

Compensation for this role will be determined by the candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and relevant knowledge.

What you will do:

  • Own the complete supply planning cycle for assigned clients, ensuring continuous material availability from demand signal through release and delivery.

  • Generate, maintain, and optimize Material Requirements Planning (MRP) signals within the ERP system.

  • Monitor inventory levels, safety stocks, lead times, and reorder points for all assigned materials.

  • Collaborate closely with Procurement to ensure timely purchase order placement and supplier performance alignment.

  • Work daily with Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Warehousing to resolve supply issues or delays.

  • Participate in client-facing meetings to provide updates on material readiness and risk mitigation.

  • Ensure all planning activities comply with GMP, GDP, and internal quality systems.

  • Maintain accurate master data and planning parameters (BOMs, lead times, lot sizes) within the ERP system.

  • Identify and escalate supply risks and develop mitigation and recovery plans, including expediting, rescheduling, or alternative sourcing.

  • Support digitalization and process improvement projects to enhance MRP KPI’s and planning processes.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, Life Sciences, or related field. APICS/CPIM certification is a plus.

  • 3–5+ years of experience in supply planning, MRP, within a GMP manufacturing environment (preferably pharma/biotech/CDMO).

  • Previous client facing experience.
