Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for short term production scheduling.

  • Incorporate input from all relevant departments to ensure production schedules including Buffer schedules have released materials in SAP, and resources such as quality personnel within relevant constraints and latest information.

  • Analyze supply-demand matching, based on MRP system, to determine root cause changes, shortages and surpluses, and identify and drive course corrections.

  • Provide product intelligence and required actions in the generation of the inventory forecast.

  • Drive disposition of inactive / hold inventory and represent supply chain in meetings with the business units, finance teams and inventory management.

  • Coordinate with MSAT and Master Data Management (MDM) for new BOM creation.

  • Work with stakeholders to identify and approve new SAP and Non-SAP part numbers.

  • Provide forecasts to suppliers.

  • Assess supplier technical capability, equipment, capacity, and risk in procurement process.

  • Resolve purchase order discrepancies and invoice issues.

  • Ensuring the consistent and adequate supply of materials necessary for production.

  • Assess volume requirements against planning assumptions and safety stock levels.

  • Maintain and update master data, including new item set up for both finished and non-finished goods.

  • Monitor the integrity of Production Bill of Materials (BOM).

Key requirements:

  • Bachelor's of Science, Supply Chain or related field; Supply Chain preferred.

  • 5+ years of supply chain experience, as well as managing a team, including coaching and mentoring. 

  • Adherence to cGMPs is required at all times during the manufacture of APIs. 

  • Expertise in transport methods, warehousing, inventory control, and distribution. 

  • Knowledge of how to source materials and services effectively. 

  • Understanding of costs, benefits, and financial implications within the supply chain.
