What you will do

  • Manage the end-to-end Vendor Supply Chain Integrity (VSCI) process, ensuring timely processing and assessment of all requests to prevent disruptions to supply chain lead times.

  • Lead clear and concise communication to internal and external Quality stakeholders regarding all VSCI matters and their impact on global supplier quality operations.

  • Review and approve supply chain records (VSCI lines) governing the use of materials, services, and equipment across the entire Lonza Network.

  • Execute and optimize the global VSCI tool within SAP, analyzing supplier information to support data-driven decisions regarding the supply chain.

  • Verify supplier qualification status and ensure the alignment of approval validity and data across various enterprise quality systems.

  • Drive global and local actions to maintain the accuracy of supplier VSCI lines, coordinating with Lonza sites to ensure tasks are executed within target lead times.

  • Maintain up-to-date documentation and traceability within Lonza’s Quality Management System (QMS) to protect product quality and regulatory compliance.

  • Serve as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the global VSCI process, providing guidance to stakeholders and supporting inspections or audits.

  • Monitor and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), highlighting risks, delays, or compliance concerns to management.

  • Manage assigned systems and tools (SAP, DMS, TrackWise) to facilitate lean global activities while ensuring strict data integrity and compliance with cGMP and FDA regulations.

What we are looking for

  • Degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related discipline with significant experience in Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, or Supplier Quality.

  • Strong analytical and technical skills to evaluate complex supply chain data and its impact on quality operations.

  • Expertise in cGMP/cGDP regulations and a deep understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and FDA requirements.

  • Proficiency with SAP, TrackWise, and Document Management Systems is highly preferred.

  • Exceptional coordination skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional global teams and influence stakeholders across multiple sites.

  • Intuitive mindset with the ability to work independently, manage risks, and drive continuous improvement.

  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus for coordinating across our global network.
