Sr Operational Excellence Specialist S2P (7-months Temp)

Seeking a data-driven professional with expertise in Source-to-Pay for a Senior Operational Excellence Specialist (temp) role in Costa Rica.

Key responsibilities:

• Serve as a strategic contributor to high-impact projects led by the Global Process Owner (GPO) organization.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Procurement and other key collaborators to optimize the end-to-end Source-to-Pay (S2P) process through effective collaboration.

• Build and maintain positive relationships across functions to promote collaboration and deliver innovative solutions.

• Identify, support, and lead process re-engineering and continuous improvement initiatives within Accounts Payable operations in the Shared Service Center.

• Analyze data to uncover improvement opportunities, develop hypotheses, validate solutions, and manage change implementation with minimal business disruption.

• Apply existing tools and methodologies to efficiently manage and track continuous improvement efforts.

• Encourage a culture of continuous improvement by sharing standard processes and taking a proactive, hands-on leadership approach.

• Ensure robust internal controls are embedded within the S2P process; monitor compliance and address control gaps proactively.

• Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date S2P process documentation; enforce global process standards and manage deviations effectively.

• Deliver training and support to end-users within your area of expertise to drive process adoption and capability building.

Key requirements:

• Proven experience in Source to Pay (across Procurement/Accounts Payable).

• Strong functional expertise and understanding/interest in end-to-end business processes.

• Strong S2P tools knowledge (SAP, Ariba, OCR).

• Strong analytic skills and tools knowledge (Power BI, Excel).

• Problem-solving and root cause identification skills.

• Lean Six Sigma (yellow or above) preferred.
