Software Application Specialist

As a Software Application Specialist you will provide basic to advanced support and installations to customers along with basic integration and system configurations. This includes fixing of sophisticated application issues and errors, data analysis, and basic to intermediate configurations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to inquiries from users and technical support regarding
functions and operations of the WinKQCL software program - Document and log tickets, defects, and improvements in our defect
tracking system. Identify and fix issues/causes, respond and
communicate in a timely manner to customers regarding any reported Lonza software related issues - You will work with the implementation team and our customers on basic to
intermediate system configurations - Maintain product documents, tests and materials in a secure manner and perform general administrative tasks
- Build test data and perform ad hoc test scenarios to recommend program improvements for the software engineering team
- Coordinate with sales and project management the customer
installations of the WinKQCL software
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience software application support, computer science, or IT related field
- Previous experience of the WinKQCL software is an advantage, but we can train you about the specifications of the software!
- Intermediate knowledge of SQL Server, SQL Server Management Studio,
Windows Server, Virtual Machines, and PC operating systems - Experience in a customer facing position is a huge advantage!
- Working proficiency of English is a must and either German or French languages are vital for the successful candidate
