Site Training Supervisor (Dutch speaking)

The full-time annual base pay for this position in Belgium is expected to range between 72.750,- EUR and 101.850,- EUR. Initial salary placement within this range will be determined based on role‑related factors such as experience, qualifications, and expected contribution.
What you will do:
- Developing and continuously improving the site training strategy (for both operational & support departments – 500FTE)
Continuously improving the training strategy and practices
Establishing and maintaining training modules for operational & support functions
Coordinating the qualification & requalification of permanent employees (both operations and support)
Validating the knowledge and skills of staff, developing a gap analysis and redirecting the training program to improve the overall skill level of the organization and make sure we develop a future proof organization from capability point of view
Developing a leadership skills program for leadership functions in Bornem site in collaboration with the HR department and functional leaders, to enable an improved leadership development
What we are looking for:
BSc/MSc degree in Education & Training, Engineer, or related field
5 -10 years relevant work experience in Learning & development.
You have experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS), such as Cornerstone or a similar platform
Technical skills with a proven ability to explain practical technical tasks or tools to others.
Fluency in both Dutch and English is required.
Ability to assess training needs and develop training strategy for the site and practical training implementation plans for Bornem (both operational & support teams).
Project management skills for managing training initiatives and timelines.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on achieving organizational goals through effective training and development initiatives.
Strong leadership and team management abilities to inspire and motivate others.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and other training technology platforms.
Knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
