This is a fully site-based role. Working together in person supports close, real-time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

  • Participation in the Lonza bonus program, rewarding company and individual performance.
  • The opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the production of life-changing therapies.

What you will do

  • Apply engineering principles to support safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations.
  • Lead equipment commissioning, start-up activities, and process troubleshooting.
  • Identify and resolve process, mechanical, and control system issues.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve yield, quality, and operational performance.
  • Analyze process data, perform root cause investigations, and implement corrective actions.
  • Author technical documentation and support compliance, quality, and risk management activities.
  • Train and mentor colleagues while sharing technical expertise across the site.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in process engineering, Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT), technical operations, or a related field within a regulated environment.
  • Knowledge of process improvement, equipment commissioning, technology transfer, or manufacturing support activities.
  • Experience analyzing technical data and solving complex operational challenges.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across teams.
