What you will do
• Manage and support Lonza's global trademark and copyright portfolio.
• Partner with the Head of Trademarks, Brand Teams, SGRM, Legal colleagues and external counsel.
• Coordinate trademark and copyright filings, renewals and prosecution activities.
• Administer IP budgets, invoices, systems and reporting.
• Finalize trademark and copyright license agreements and support brand usage reviews.
• Coordinate brand protection activities including domains, UDRP, Amazon Brand Registry and customs filings.
• Drive continuous improvement and proactive management of IP processes.
What we are looking for
• Significant intellectual property portfolio management experience.
• Strong expertise in US and international trademark practice, including Madrid Protocol filings.
• Experience working with external counsel and global IP matters.
• Ability to independently manage a large global trademark portfolio.
• Excellent organizational, project management and communication skills.
• Experience with IP management systems, budgeting and reporting.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional legal/paralegal qualifications are advantageous.
