Senior Software Quality Assurance Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Software Quality Assurance Analyst to lead end-to-end software testing and quality assurance for WinKQCL, a commercial software platform currently undergoing a complete redesign and rewrite. In this role, you will build and execute test cases, oversee project testing deliverables, support audit activities, and mentor team members.

This role is primarily based on site (Walkersville, MD or Portsmouth, NH preferred) with hybrid flexibility. Working together in person supports close, real-time collaboration and technical precision, especially when learning how the software integrates directly with laboratory hardware. Requests for hybrid work are considered on a case-by-case basis.

What you will do:

• Plan, scope, and oversee end-to-end software testing for releases, patches, and hotfixes associated with WinKQCL.

• Build and execute manual test cases (with openness to automated testing) and provide QA approval for all software release documentation.

• Provide oversight for all project deliverables, planning, test execution, and progress reporting.

• Serve as a senior lead on the testing team, mentoring and coaching existing QA analysts.

• Plan and create validation support packages for end users, ensuring high standards for software verification.

• Participate in and support software quality audit questionnaires, as well as on-site and virtual audits.

• Manage Software Quality SOPs, Job Aids, and software testing systems while collaborating closely with Software Validation, Support, Development, and Deployment teams.

What we are looking for:

• Extensive experience in Software QA, with a strong focus on manual testing and test case creation (automated testing experience is a plus).

• Highly desired experience with Quality Assurance verification of software within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.

• Demonstrated lead experience with a strong track record of coaching and mentoring junior QA team members.

• Proven ability to manage software release documentation, validation packages, and audit responses.

• Ability to work on site or in a hybrid model in Walkersville, MD or Portsmouth, NH to interface directly with hardware-software integrations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Life Sciences, or equivalent practical experience.
