We are looking for a highly motivated R&D Senior Scientist to join our team in Slough. You will play a pivotal role in developing next-generation cell culture processes, leading studies on ambr15 and ambr250 systems, and mentoring junior scientists. • Lead strategic and innovative R&D studies using high-throughput systems such as ambr15 and ambr250

• Write study plans, reports, and prepare presentations for internal and external stakeholders

• Mentor and train junior scientists, fostering professional growth

• Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate machine learning models into cell culture processes

• Participate in routine mammalian cell culture workflows, including media preparation, revival, and subculture

• Generate experimental results, review documentation, and ensure adherence to lab procedures and safety guidelines

• Support the wider team with additional lab tasks as needed

• Strong experience with mammalian cell culture and process development

• Hands-on experience with ambr15 and ambr250 automation systems

• Ability to design, execute, and analyze complex experiments

• Experience mentoring or training junior staff

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• MSc or equivalent in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Bioprocessing, Biochemistry, or Chemical Engineering (PhD preferred)

• Business fluent in English
