We are looking for a highly motivated R&D Senior Scientist to join our team in Slough. You will play a pivotal role in developing next-generation cell culture processes, leading studies on ambr15 and ambr250 systems, and mentoring junior scientists. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge bioprocess development and make a global impact.

What You Will DoLead strategic and innovative R&D studies using high-throughput systems such as ambr15 and ambr250
Write study plans, reports, and prepare presentations for internal and external stakeholders
Mentor and train junior scientists, fostering professional growth
Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate machine learning models into cell culture processes
Participate in routine mammalian cell culture workflows, including media preparation, revival, and subculture
Generate experimental results, review documentation, and ensure adherence to lab procedures and safety guidelines
Support the wider team with additional lab tasks as needed
Strong experience with mammalian cell culture and process development
Hands-on experience with ambr15 and ambr250 automation systems
Ability to design, execute, and analyze complex experiments
Experience mentoring or training junior staff
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
MSc or equivalent in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Bioprocessing, Biochemistry, or Chemical Engineering (PhD preferred)
Business fluent in English
