Senior research associate Analytical Development

Location: Oss

As a result of the increasing number of external ADC collaborations, we are currently looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Senior Research Associate Analytical Development Bioconjugates. You will operate as an experienced analytical specialist within the  team that supports the analysis of ADCs with several analytical techniques such as UPLC, CE-SDS, SEC, LC-MS. Key tasks will be performing standard analysis to support the process development group, setting up new analytical methods with subsequent optimization and validation.  As a senior member of the team, you will proactively identify and troubleshoot analytical challenges and drive improvements in analytical workflows. You will provide day-to-day guidance and technical support to research associates.  In addition, a Senior Research Associate supports project management activities by preparing highquality documents and reports for both internal and external stakeholders.

The full-time annual base pay for this position in The Netherlands is expected to range between 48.000 EUR and 67.200 EUR. Initial salary placement within this range will be determined based on role‑related factors such as experience, qualifications, and expected contribution. 

What you will do: 

  • Plan, design and perform experiments as described in protocols and proactively improve and refine upon these protocols.

  • Develop, optimize and (when required) validate new, molecule-specific, analytical methods based on HPLC/UPLC, LC-MS, Capillary electrophoresis or ELISA techniques.

  • Independently analyze and interpret experimental data,  draw conclusions and propose next steps to the supervisor.

  • Responsible for the preparation of high-quality project-related documentation including certificates of testing (CoTs) and final reports in PowerPoint format for internal and external use.

  • Contribute to external collaborations by assessing technical feasibility through project execution and reporting.

  • Assist Research Associates with organizing their daily work (e.g. work planning).

What we are looking for:

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field is required.

  • Experience with various analysis techniques including SEC, IEX, CE-SDS, RP-HPLC and LC-MS.

  • Experience with handling antibodies or other proteins.

  • Familiarity with common steps and strategies of method development, optimization and validation.

  • Strong commitment to laboratory work and project delivery.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Demonstrates problem solving and trouble shooting skills.

  • Demonstrates good verbal and written communication and presenting skills.

  • Strong team-player mentality and ability to motivate people.
