Key responsibilities:Lead a multi-disciplinary project team for the execution of customer projects. This includes full responsibility and accountability for project initiation, planning, execution/implementation, controlling (including costs), monitoring, and closeout
Collaborate with the Customer on day-to-day project execution, ensuring alignment with the approved Project Plan. This includes resolving issues, reviewing documentation, managing changes, and communicating effectively
Conduct Project Team Meetings with collaborators and partners, both internal and external, to ensure alignment with the Project Plan. Agendas and minutes are required to uphold accountability.
Monitor project status and progress rigorously to ensure on-track delivery. Proactively manage risks using established risk management techniques
Evaluate project profitability in coordination with Site Controlling, ensuring alignment with original costing
Operate under a matrix management system, providing input for the annual performance reviews of project team members
Set up and improve internal Life Cycle Model for Program Management Standards at Lonza, follow Global PPM CoE Standards, and maintain data integrity in Planview
Lead the way in establishing guidelines and implementing project management standards
Perform other duties as assigned
Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with Customers, acting as their advocate and ensuring their needs are met
Experience in managing complex projects using structured methodologies, focusing on meeting scope, quality, and timeline objectives
Strong leadership skills to motivate and guide cross-functional teams toward achieving project goals with high-quality standards
Ability to manage all operational aspects of projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and Customer expectations
Excellent problem-solving skills to navigate challenges and drive decisions that ensure Customer happiness and project success
Familiarity with Global Program and Project Center of Excellence (PPM CoE) standards, with a strong dedication to maintaining data integrity in tools like Planview
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal collaborators, such as Account Management and Sales teams
