What you will do:

• Support the production staff on the shopfloor by providing scientific expertise

• Support the GMP compliant qualification and validation activities of automated visual inspection system from an Operations perspective

• Prepare readiness for operative takeover of the automated, semi-automated, manual visual inspection and container closure integrity testing

• Accountable for safety, compliance and regulatory aspects. Preparation of risk analysis and all relevant procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and achieve business goals.

• Technical improvement execution: Execute improvements, Drive process related trouble shooting

• Leading/participate in change controls and deviations: using scientific and statistical knowledge to analyze data to provide process understanding, and to identify root causes of product and process failures.

• Represent the VI and CCIT during regulatory inspections and audits.

What we are looking for:

• Proven hands-on experience in pharmaceutical visual inspection for drug product in vials or syringes, in EITHER manual visual inspection, semi-automated, and/or fully automated visual inspection machines (AVI); experience across multiple inspection technologies is highly preferred.

• Knowledge of qualification of visual inspection machines, product validation and ideally with Container Closure Integrity Testing (CCIT) is preferred.

• Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment, building processes, standards, and solutions from the ground up with limited guidance and a strong continuous improvement mindset.

• Fluent in EITHER English OR German is required (fluency in both languages is an advantage)

• A relevant scientific or engineering degree is preferred, although equivalent technical training combined with substantial industry experience will also be considered.
