Intro Summary of the Role

As a Senior OT SOC Analyst at Lonza, you will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to cybersecurity threats within the Operational Technology (OT) environment. The role involves close collaboration with IT, OT, and cross-functional teams to ensure the security, resilience, and availability of critical manufacturing systems that support global operations.

What You Will Do

  • Monitor OT security alerts and investigate potential cybersecurity incidents
  • Perform threat analysis and recommend effective mitigation strategies
  • Collaborate with IT and OT teams to design and implement security controls
  • Develop, maintain, and improve SOC processes and documentation
  • Participate in incident response activities and forensic investigations
  • Support ongoing enhancements to OT cybersecurity posture

What We Are Looking For

  • A proactive cybersecurity professional with strong experience in SOC operations, particularly within OT/industrial environments, who can independently handle incidents and collaborate across teams to protect critical systems.
  • Education - Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Experience - Minimum 5+ years of experience in SOC operations and Prior experience in OT environments is preferred
  • Skills - Strong knowledge of Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and Network security fundamentals and threat detection, hands-on experience with SIEM tools.
  • Languages - English (working proficiency)
  • Certifications - Relevant cybersecurity certifications are desirable (but not mandatory)
  • Competencies - Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills. Effective communication and documentation abilities, ability to work in cross-functional, global teams.
