Senior Maintenance Planner
Location: Vacaville, California
This is a fully site based role. Working together in person supports close, real time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.
Join Lonza in Vacaville, CA, as a Senior Maintenance Planner and become part of our Facilities Maintenance team supporting the production of innovative biotherapeutic medicines. In this role, you will work closely with Maintenance, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure reliable operation of critical facility systems and equipment. At Lonza, we operate in a highly regulated environment and follow strict cGMP and SOP standards, ensuring our processes consistently meet the highest quality and compliance requirements.
What you will get
The full-time base annual salary for this position is expected to range between $93,000 to $155,000. In addition, below you will find a comprehensive summary of the benefits package we offer:

What you will do
Review and prioritize maintenance requests in SAP based on safety, compliance, and business impact.
Create detailed maintenance work orders, including job scope, labor, materials, tools, and safety requirements.
Conduct site/job walks to ensure maintenance plans are accurate and complete.
Work closely with Scheduling, Manufacturing, and Maintenance teams to create realistic work schedules.
Ensure materials, permits, and resources are ready before work is scheduled or executed.
Maintain accurate SAP data and drive continuous improvements in maintenance planning processes.
Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, EHS, and Supply Chain teams while serving as a planning subject matter expert (SME).
What we are looking for
BS/BA in Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences, or Engineering preferred.
SAP maintenance planning and work order management.
Maintenance and reliability planning for preventive and corrective maintenance.
Scheduling and coordinating maintenance activities with operations and production teams.
GMP, GDP, safety, and regulatory compliance in a manufacturing environment.
Cross-functional collaboration, problem-solving, and continuous process improvement.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
