We are looking for a Senior Laboratory Technician (m/f/d) in our team in Mammalian Cell Culture Development at the Visp site. In this role, you will work hands-on in our state-of-the art laboratories and will interact with cross-functional teams to develop cell culture processes for the manufacture of novel biotherapeutics.

What you’ll do:

• Perform and document experimental lab work in mammalian cell culture.

• Collaborate with scientists and lab technicians to generate and collect high-quality data.

• Assist with general laboratory tasks and media preparation.

• Maintain and take ownership of lab equipment, including creating working instructions.

• Order raw materials and consumables as needed for projects.

What we’re looking for:

• BSc in Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry, or an Apprenticeship with 1-4 years of relevant industry experience.

• Experience in mammalian cell culture (e.g., cell line development, CHO cells, aseptic techniques, subculture, cryopreservation, transfections, AMBR15, media preparation).

• Strong teamwork and organizational skills.

• Proficiency in technical English; German is a plus.

• Availability to work during weekends and bank holidays a few times per year.
