Senior Data Governance Specialist
Location. Manchester (Hybrid working model).

In this role, you will help strengthen data integrity across Lonza by shaping clear business rules and improving data quality processes. You will partner with teams across the business to ensure our data is reliable, consistent, and ready to support better decisions.

What you will do:

• Define and maintain business rules for transactional data across the organization.
• Build and manage the architecture that supports data governance practices.
• Work with technical teams to create and improve data models.
• Create clear Power BI reports and dashboards to support partners.
• Support users by guiding them through data processes and best practices.
• Monitor data quality and follow up with partners to address issues.
• Develop dashboards that support data quality review and improvement.

What we are looking for:

• Experience applying data governance principles and defining business rules for transactional data.
• Ability to use Power BI to build clear, useful dashboards and reports.
• Experience monitoring data quality and supporting teams to resolve issues.
• Strong documentation skills to explain data rules, processes, and dashboards.
• Ability to manage large data updates and work well with technical and business teams.
• Experience improving lifecycle management of transactional data within governance standards.
