Senior Data Governance Specialist

Role Purpose:We are seeking a Senior Data Governance Specialist to define and oversee business rules for transactional data, with a focus on maintaining data integrity company-wide. Key responsibilities include developing and managing data governance architecture, providing support to customers, and collaborating with partners and technical teams to enhance data quality and governance.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for generating and implementing Power BI reports for data quality review, ensuring complete lifecycle management of transactional data!
Key Responsibilities:Defining and governing business rules for transactional data
Building and maintaining the architecture for data governance
Collaborating with the technical team to develop data models
Visualizing data in Power BI to support collaborators
Enabling and supporting the user community in data processes
Monitoring data quality and following up with collaborators
Developing dashboards for data quality review (Power BI)
Managing mass-update requests from business and project teams
Crafting comprehensive documentation for data rules and processes
Proposing and implementing business rules for data lifecycle management
Ensuring compliance with established governance practices
Good communication and collaborator management skills
Understanding of data governance principles and experience in defining and implementing business rules for transactional data
Knowledgeable in using tools like Power BI for data visualization to construct insightful reports and dashboards for partners
Experience in monitoring data quality, conducting data quality reviews, and collaborating with collaborators to address issues
Strong documentation skills to develop comprehensive documentation for data rules, processes, and dashboards
Ability to handle large-scale update requests and collaborate effectively with technical teams, business collaborators, and project teams.
Knowledge and experience in proposing and implementing business rules for data lifecycle management, ensuring compliance with governance practices
