Join our brand-new manufacturing suite in New Hampshire and play a pivotal role as a Senior Biotechnologist on our 2K Bioreactor team. You will serve as a subject matter expert, responsible for executing and optimizing complex biomanufacturing processes under strict cGMP conditions. This is an opportunity for an experienced professional to lead daily operations, mentor a team of dedicated technicians, and be instrumental in the development of life-changing biotechnological products.

Schedule
  • Rotational: 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off (repeat)

  • Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

  • Weekend shifts include additional pay.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Execution & Optimization: Lead the execution of all manufacturing processes, including fermentation, and continuously identify opportunities for optimization, ensuring flawless adherence to cGMP conditions.

  • Equipment Operations: Strictly monitor and operate a variety of bioprocessing equipment, including bioreactors, maintaining the highest standards of performance and safety.

  • Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving: Tackle complex and non-routine equipment issues, initiating deviations and providing detailed analysis to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.

  • Training & Mentorship: Train and mentor other technicians, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment while ensuring a high level of proficiency in technical and compliance procedures.

  • Quality & Documentation: Review and assess batch records and logbooks for accuracy, clarity, and completeness, ensuring documentation excellence and submitting necessary revisions.

  • Independent Tasks & Administration: Independently perform laboratory tasks, including pH and conductivity testing and routine sanitization, and lead administrative tasks such as shift exchanges and project participation.

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent experience; an AS/BS in a science-related field is preferred.

  • Extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical manufacturing industry, with proven logic, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities. Experience with large-scale fermentation is highly preferred.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are essential.

  • Demonstrated flexibility in adapting to changing business priorities and a proactive approach to seeking feedback for continuous improvement.
