We are looking for a Scientist to join our Research & Development team in The Netherlands. Lonza AG aims to offer targeted delivery technologies. This chance lets you engage with advanced protein conjugation technologies. Your pivotal role will advance our R&D efforts, especially in Antibody-Drug Conjugates (ADCs) for various clinical areas.

What you will do:
Generation and characterization of antibody conjugates, including with highly cytotoxic payloads.
Application and adaptation of purification and analytical techniques (including SEC, IEX, affinity chromatography, SDS-PAGE, RP-UPLC, high-res MS).
Exploration of novel routes to generate homogeneous antibody conjugates.
Support in filing and strengthening of intellectual property.
Acquisition and dissemination of knowledge in biochemistry, molecular biology, and/or protein science.
Supervision of research associates.
What we are looking for:
MSc in Biochemistry or Molecular Biology or PhD in Biochemistry or Molecular Biology.
0 - 4 relevant work experience in Biochemistry or Molecular Biology.
Experience in the generation of protein conjugates by chemical and/or enzymatic means.
Proficiency in purifying antibodies and other proteins through protein A, SEC, and IEX.
Experienced in the analysis of antibodies and other proteins, including conjugates, through the use of SDS-PAGE, RP-HPLC/UPLC, SE-HPLC/UPLC, and MS.
Competence in functional analyses, including cell-based assays (in vitro cytotoxicity, reporter cell lines), flow cytometry, and ELISA-based assays.
Strong problem-solving skills for preparative or analytical challenges.
Ability to lead and work collaboratively within a team.
Excellent verbal and written reporting skills in English.
