What you’ll do:

  • Routine execution and coordination of microbiological testing including environmental monitoring, bacterial endotoxins-, bioburden- and sterility testing etc.

  • Adhere to GMP regulations to ensure flawless operations

  • Perform, develop, establish and improve microbiological testing procedures, e.g. method suitability testing and provide training for test methods

  • Support microbiology-related projects, such as implementation of new methods

  • Ensure appropriate maintenance of equipment, safety and health protection following laboratory and safety instructions and all cGMP regulations

  • Train analytical methods and/or corresponding instruments

What we’re looking for:
  • Education as Lab Technician, Bachelor or equivalent in Microbiology or Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related fields

  • Working experience in microbiological testing, preferably in pharmaceutical industry working under cGMP Regulations

  • Sound working knowledge in all (and in-depth knowledge in at least one) relevant microbiological test types (environmental monitoring, endotoxin, bioburden and sterility testing)

  • Knowledge with automated systems (e.g. Growth direct, Pyrotec Pro) is an asset

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Fluency in written and spoken English, German is an asset
