As a Scientist Laboratory Automation QC, you will drive automation solutions that improve efficiency, data integrity, and analytical speed in our Quality Control laboratories. This role is critical to ensuring data integrity and accelerating analyses in line with our quality standards.

What you will do:

  • Evaluate, plan, and implement automated QC methods and systems in collaboration with laboratory teams.

  • Optimize existing automated processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and turnaround times.

  • Validate and qualify automated systems and software in line with GMP and internal procedures.

  • Create and maintain specifications, validation plans, reports, and SOPs for automated QC systems.

  • Train QC colleagues on new automated systems and laboratory workflows.

  • Provide technical troubleshooting and ongoing support for automation equipment and software.

  • Collaborate with IT, QA, and Engineering to deliver sustainable automation solutions.

What we are looking for:

  • A completed apprenticeship or Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a scientific or technical field.

  • At least three years of experience in laboratory automation, ideally in QC within a regulated environment.

  • Strong knowledge of automated system development, implementation, and validation.

  • Experience with LIMS and data analysis tools in a laboratory setting is a plus.

  • Good understanding of GMP requirements and regulated quality environments.

  • Programming skills such as Python, C#, or VBScript are an advantage.

  • Clear communication skills in German and English, with a collaborative working style.
