We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Associate in Organic Chemistry to join our laboratory team. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, execution, and analysis of chemical experiments, supporting ongoing research programs in synthetic chemistry. This role requires a strong commitment to laboratory work, high scientific standards, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced research environment.
What you’ll do:
Execute a broad range of complex chemical transformations, applying solid knowledge of organic chemistry.
Perform analytical and purification techniques (e.g., chromatography, spectroscopy) and critically interpret experimental results.
Maintain high attention to detail and rigorous experimental standards in all laboratory activities.
Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines and prioritize tasks efficiently.
Contribute scientific input to experimental design, data analysis, and research discussions.
Take initiative in proposing solutions, optimizing workflows, and improving laboratory processes.
Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining the ability to work independently.
What we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, or a related discipline.
Hands-on laboratory experience in synthetic organic chemistry is a plus.
Proficiency with common purification and analytical techniques (e.g., NMR, LC-MS, HPLC, flash chromatography).
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to critically assess experimental outcomes.
Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
Responsible, conscientious, and collaborative mindset.
