Collaborate in a complementary team to innovate scalable bioreactor processes on the Lonza Cocoon® platform, emphasizing cell-based immunotherapy manufacturing!

responsible for developing innovative cell manufacturing processes, specifically

Engaged in a new magnetic separation system. The biologist or bioengineer will complete experiments on the Lonza Cocoon® platform, aiding in process technology transfer.
 

Responsibilities:

• Conducts cell-based assays at the laboratory bench under a technical lead's mentorship for cell therapy manufacturing processes.

• Critically analyzes experimental data for process improvement and eventual incorporation into clinical cell production.

• Presents results to advise supervisor and members of the team.

• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to successfully conduct innovative solutions.
   

Required Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in molecular/cellular biology, biochemistry, biological engineering or related field

• 2+ years of lab benchwork experience

• Extensive experience/knowledge of aseptic cell culture techniques with a preference to T-cell culture

• Preference for experience with magnetic separation

• Preference for experience performing various biological analysis assays (e.g. flow cytometry, immunostaining, ELISA, etc.)

• Data analysis and statistics background

• Good technical writing, presentation, and communication skills

• Independent and partnership skills
